Fallen, I watch. I hope. I pray. I keep my aim high.
Fallen, I watch: darkened skies, black shoe soles and dimmed city lights.
Tall, twisted constructions; monuments’ momentum to an overrated pride,
a touch of a dark side.
Fallen, I watch: looped in an infinite race, passers-by despite me.
Vultures, rats, senseless. Blindfolded, swollen hearts; muffled off-beat.
The eternal rhythm, lost whilst they scream for a little warmth within a frozen silence.
Fallen, I watch: my brethren in millions, descending upon a white noise, the falling culture.
Inevitability.
The winter is coming, in millions.

You'll never shine
Until you find your moon
To bring your wolf to a howl.
Until you find your moon
To bring your wolf to a howl.
